Run Rabbit Run
So I have been at my new job for a month now, and I have to tell you that working is pretty sweet. I could live without the frustration of waking up at 6:30. And I could bear to have a freaking social life. But for some reason, life is good. I work at a Sign Company in Jersey now. I am a part of the “IT Division”. This, of course, consists of me and my friend who brought me on. Supposedly, in the sign industry, that is a big fucking deal. All I know is that a company that makes some of the best signs in the country has a couple of pieces of paper taped together labeling my “Division”.
Now work is a weird thing. I don’t get much sleep, but for some reason, when I get home, I can’t get to sleep. I am still on that programmer high. That feeling you get when you just got something done. And then there is that high from learning what we call the business logic. I mean a month ago, I didn’t know what the fuck a Pylon was, or Channel Letters, or the difference between first surface and second surface venal. Now I could school your ass son.
But there is something cool about working for a company that actually makes something. Not only that, but they are one of the best in their industry. All they need now is technology. I mean how fucking cool is it that I have a chance to turn a good business into a great business?

Congratulations on your new job. So when a hot chick asks what your sign is, you say....
Hey, you finally added that word verification thin-a-ma-jigger. How is it possible that I was ahead of you on the techno-gizzy curve?
So do you no longer live in Philly?
Nope, I live in Philly still. I get a ride to Jersey. And, as you can see, I haven't posted in a while, so that is why you beat me.
Speaking of which, I need to look at your blog because I heard that there are some funny new posts. Sorry about not following it like I should.
